Specify the desired settings and click the Process button to display the rose diagram.Choose the Linears | Rose Diagram | From Endpoints menu command to display the Rose Diagram From Endpoints dialog.Close the DXF Lineation Import dialog window to view the values in the RockWorks Utilities spreadsheet. You are welcome to download the RockWorks15 PowerPoint presentation from the RockWare web site. Choose the Help | Tutorials menu command in RockWorks to view the tutorials. RockWorks comes with a tutorial in the Help file. If you prefer to work with a list of orientations in your attribute table stored in a DBF file, you can import the DBF into the RockWorks spreadsheet with the File | Import | DBF menu command in RockWorks. You do not need to " create xy data in ArcMap" using this procedure. Then use the method that I describe above to import the file into RockWorks and read the XY coordinates into the spreadsheet. ArcMap / ArcView uses the ArcToolbox Conversion Tools | To CAD or To Shapefile to export the lineaments a DXF or SHP file.
